Greece and Spain in the 1960s: Aim at tracing a 'late' or 'peripheral' 68 in Spain and Greece in the late 1960s and early 1970s. International student radicalism equally important/influential as the domestic conditions. Greek and Spanish students operating abroad, and mainly in Paris, as a network which 'transplanted' radicalism home. New youth cultures/counter-cultures, including cinema, music etc as sites of resistance. Relation to violence. Local dictatorships's attempts to liberalise leading to strengthening of the contestatory movements. Methodology includes archival sources, student journals, oral interviews and audiovisual material of the period.
